Metal Finishings Ltd offers dry film lubrication with lubricants based on molybdenum disulphide and graphite. Dry film lubricants are particularly useful for situations where liquid lubricants would be unsuitable, such as for high temperature lubrication or lubrication in the presence of solvents. Another common use for a DFLs is to prevent galling. We currently offer the following dry film lubricants:
- Bonderite L-GP 580 (was Dag 580)
- IP9136-R3
- Molykote 106
- Molydag 709
We also offer a PTFE post-treatment for our hard anodising, which may be of interest. Other painting and NDT services are available.
