Conflict minerals are minerals mined in conditions of armed conflict and human rights abuses, and which are sold or traded by armed groups. Of particular concern, and for the purposes of the Dodd-Frank Act, are tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG).

Metal Finishings Ltd undertake due diligence and use reasonable efforts and trustworthy information to make a reliable determination as to the source/origin of its supplies to ensure that we and our suppliers source minerals responsibly and do not contribute to conflict through our mineral purchasing decisions and practices.

For production use (and in support of production) Metal Finishings Ltd do not use any 3TG materials.

For R&D purposes, Metal Finishings Ltd are using small quantities of tin from conflict-free sources according to information provided by suppliers and checked on the CFSI listing.
